Get up to $50 from SMECO’s SmartTemp program
How It Works
If you are a SMECO residential member with a qualifying Wi-Fi-connected thermostat for cooling, you can receive up to $50 in bill credits each season per household. If you use your smart thermostat for both cooling and electric heating, you may be eligible to earn up to $96 per year as part of SmartTemp Year Round. Help reduce energy use
During the program period, SMECO may occasionally adjust the temperature by no more than 4 degrees on the enrolled thermostat(s) in your home for six hours or less during periods of peak energy demand. Events will not occur on weekends or holidays, except in the event of a rare system emergency. You can opt out of peak energy events from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat at any time.
