BGE will pay you to use less energy by making small, temporary adjustments to your thermostat during peak energy demand.

You can opt out of thermostat adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
Connected thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your home’s energy use. You can adjust your thermostat on the go, or simply set an automatic schedule that optimizes your energy usage based on your routine. And by signing up with BGE’s Connected Rewards program, you’ll receive additional benefits.
By enrolling your thermostat in the Connected Rewards program, you agree to let BGE make small adjustments (up to 4 degrees) to your thermostat during times of peak electric demand, usually during the summer months when demand for electricity is high. For every year you participate, you will also receive a $50 annual Visa e-gift card for each thermostat enrolled in the program.
By participating in the program, you’ll help to reduce the need for additional power plants, keep down the overall cost of electricity, and ease the burden on Maryland’s electricity delivery system as our state’s population continues to grow. Join the Connected Rewards community and enroll today!
