Get up to $50 from Idaho Power’s Smart Thermostat Demand Response program

If you have a qualifying Honeywell Home Smart Thermostat, you may qualify for rewards while helping your community. When you join, if qualified, you’ll get a $50 check — and, after the first year, another $5 monthly bill credit on your July-October bills (up to $20 per summer!) when you participate in at least 50% of demand response event hours per month.

Joining is quick and easy. Once you’re in, you’ll keep earning year after year. Enroll once, and get rewarded for making a simple choice.

1. Sign up and if eligible, receive a $50 check just for enrolling. Conditions apply. Please see Idaho Power’s website for full program terms.

2. During peak energy use times, Idaho Power may adjust your thermostat by no more than 4°F for up to 4 hours. 

3. You’re always in control — you can opt out of any event at any time by changing the temperature on your thermostat.

4. After 12 months in the program, you’ll be eligible to receive an additional $5 bill credit on your July–October bills when you participate in at least 50% of demand response hours each month.
