To help reduce peak demand, energy costs, and pollution ConnectedSolutions will make short, low-impact thermostat adjustments on high gas usage days.

You can opt out of thermostat adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
CHOOSE YOUR THERMOSTAT
Smart thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your home’s gas use. You can adjust your thermostat on the go to conserve energy, or simply set an automatic schedule that optimizes your usage based on your routine.
With the ConnectedSolutions program, you will receive a $25 reward from National Grid for enrolling a qualifying thermostat that allows minor, short-term adjustments to reduce natural gas use during periods of high demand. In most cases, you won’t even notice the adjustments and you’ll always have ultimate control to opt out whenever you need to. Plus, you will receive an additional $25 reward at the end of each subsequent winter season for participating in our energy conservation efforts.
