HOW IT WORKS

If you are an SCE residential customer and are an active member of a qualifying Demand Response program, including Critical Peak Pricing (CPP), Capacity Bidding Program (CBP Residential), or the Demand Response Auction Mechanism (DRAM) Pilot - you may be eligible!

Earn $75!

SCE will reward you for conserving energy by making small, temporary adjustments to your smart thermostat during peak energy demand.

Stay in control.

You can opt out of thermostat adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.

Connected thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your business or home’s energy use. You can adjust your thermostat on the go, or simply set an automatic schedule that optimizes your energy usage based on your routine. And by signing up with SCE, you’ll help maximize your participation during Demand Response (DR) events for greater bill savings. Here’s how:

If you are actively enrolled in CPP or CBP Residential and own a qualifying thermostat, you may apply for the Technology Incentive Program. The Technology Incentive Program works with your DR program to help reduce air conditioning usage. Specifically, during Demand Response events (e.g., CPP or CBP Residential events) SCE will notify EnergyHub to remotely adjust the temperature setting on your thermostat up four degrees to help maximize your participation and bill savings. By applying, your account will also be evaluated for a $75 rebate.

If you are actively enrolled in the DRAM Pilot through a 3rd Party DR Provider, you may apply for SCE’s Technology Incentive Program to be evaluated for a $75 rebate only. Contact your 3rd Party DR provider for further details.
