If you are an MID residential electric customer with a qualifying Wi-Fi-connected thermostat for cooling, you can receive a one-time $50 bill credit for enrolling in the MID’s Power Smart program. Plus, if you stay enrolled, you get an additional $20 bill credit each year. Let's work together to help reduce our energy use during peak demand times.

MID customers like you are enrolling in the Power Smart program and working together to help reduce energy demand while getting rewards.

From June 1 through September 30, MID may occasionally adjust the temperature by no more than four degrees on the enrolled thermostat(s) in your home for less than four hours during periods high energy usage. You can opt out of peak energy events from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
