You are eligible to enroll if you are a NYSEG electricity customer with a Wi-Fi thermostat connected to a central air conditioning system. When you enroll, you can earn $70 for each eligible thermostat. Plus, fully participate in thermostat adjustments throughout the summer season and you'll receive a $20 bill credit per account, issued at the end of the season.

Enrollment will allow us to make brief, limited adjustments to your Wi-Fi thermostat during times of peak summer electric demand (May 1 through September 30). An adjustment will never be more than 4 degrees above your current temperature. Your participation is risk-free. You can opt out of thermostat adjustment events at any time from your mobile device, web browser, or thermostat. If you opt out, you will not be eligible for the $20 end of season event participation bill credit.
