Washington Gas customers like you are enrolling in the Smart Energy Rewards Program and working together to help reduce energy demand while getting rewards.

If you are a Washington Gas residential gas customer with a qualifying Wi-Fi-connected thermostat for heating, you can receive a $20 virtual prepaid Mastercard® for enrolling in the Smart Energy Rewards program. Plus, if you stay enrolled, you get an additional $10 Prepaid Mastercard each year. Let's work together to help reduce our energy use during peak demand times.

From November 1 through March 31, Washington Gas may occasionally adjust the temperature by no more than 4 degrees on the enrolled thermostat(s) in your home for less than four hours during periods of peak energy demand. Events will not occur on weekends or holidays, except in the event of a rare system emergency. You can opt out of peak energy events from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
