When you join, you’ll get a $75 virtual prepaid Mastercard® — and another $20 Prepaid Mastercard if you stay enrolled and participate in at least half of the smart thermostat adjustments between December 1, 2026 and March 31, 2027

By agreeing to let UI make brief, limited adjustments to a qualifying Wi-Fi-connected thermostat during times of peak electric demand, you earn $60 for each Wi-Fi thermostat you enroll. You will earn a Virtual Visa® Prepaid Card for $35 when you sign-up and $25 at the end of the season.

Your participation protects your comfort, risk-free. Reduce energy demand but not your well-being by participating in limited events with minor thermostat adjustments. You can opt out of events at any time from your mobile device, web browser, or thermostat.
