Massachusetts customers like you are enrolling in Unitil's ConnectedSolutions program and working together to reduce energy demand, while earning cash rewards.

Unitil will reward you for conserving energy by making small, temporary adjustments to your smart thermostat during peak energy demand.

From June 1 through September 30, Unitil will automatically adjust your home or small business enrolled thermostat temperature by no more than 4 degrees for no more than 4 hours, when it detects a high energy demand event during the summer. There are typically no more than 15 adjustments and these usually occur on non-holiday weekdays. You can opt out of peak energy event adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser, or thermostat.
