CHOOSE YOUR THERMOSTAT
Connected thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your home’s energy use. You can adjust your thermostat on the go, or simply set an automatic schedule that optimizes your energy usage based on your routine.
When you enroll in the APS Cool Rewards program, it will allow your thermostat manufacturer to raise your internet-connected thermostat by a few degrees during Cool Rewards conservation events. Events can occur any day of the week when energy usage is very high, from June 1 through September 30. There will never be more than 20 Cool Rewards events per summer and each may last up to three hours. Prior to an event, there may be a period of pre-cooling, which will allow your thermostat manufacturer to lower your internet-connected thermostat by a few degrees, to help maintain comfort during the actual Cool Rewards conservation event. You can opt out by adjusting your thermostat at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
For enrolling in the APS Cool Rewards program, you will receive a $50 enrollment bill credit for each thermostat you register (up to five per home). Plus, you will receive a $35 participation bill credit per thermostat annually for being enrolled in the program.
You may also be eligible for an additional $30 rebate, if you register a new, qualifying smart thermostat into another program called the APS Smart Thermostat program. To learn more about this program, visit aps.com/thermostat.
