Get $50 from LG&E and KU’s Bring Your Own Thermostat program
How it works
If you are an LG&E and KU residential electric customer with a qualifying Wi-Fi-connected thermostat for cooling or heating, you can receive a $50 incentive for enrolling in the Bring Your Own Thermostat program. At the end of each program season, you will receive an additional $5 for every thermostat adjustment event you participate in.* Let’s work together to help reduce our energy use during times of peak energy demand.
Help reduce energy use
During periods of peak energy demand or to maintain system reliability, LG&E and KU may occasionally adjust the temperature by no more than 4 degrees on the enrolled thermostat(s) in your home for no more than four hours. You can opt out of peak energy events from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.

*Participation in an event is defined as the thermostat being controlled for at least 70% of the event minutes.
